Gentle Christmas ...

My Solstice season wish for all of you
is for a happy, peaceful and very gentle Christmas Eve
and Christmas Day.

May this magical season be filled with
love, warmth, and joy
as we look ahead with hope to the new year.

It would be lovely if a whole bunch of folks woke-up Christmas morning and said, "You know, what we've been doing isn't working, let's try a new approach - one not based on selfishness, rancor and rage."

Peace.

Happy Holiday to you and yours.

Beautiful wish, lovely picture (just needs a sleeping cat, IMO). Peace, love and beauty to you, Wren.

And thanks for listening to my song!

Thank you! A wonderful wish--peaceful and gentle. I'm waiting to be able to leave the office, and praying that nothing comes up to keep me here late.

Merry Christmas to you!

Ha ha. I was also thinking about the need for a sleeping cat. Thank you for the simply beautiful Christmas wish, Wren. Perfectly eloquent.

Larry and Lucy:
Ah, but there IS a sleeping cat in that picture! If you look carefully, behind the ottoman, there's a small reddish-and-gray thing on the slate, right near the woodstove. That's a puffy cat-bed. And IN the cat-bed is my ol' buddy PIB the tuxedo cat. You can BARELY sorta make out his black and white face. Barely. When I took the photo, he'd been sleeping there, all stretched out and comfortable as only cats can be, snoring, for hours. Really. Puss In Boots snores. So that scene really IS complete.
